John Frankenheimer
John Frankenheimer



The photograph series of the John Frankenheimer papers spans the years 1964–1996 and encompasses 34.5 linear feet. The series consists of oversize photograph albums and ten boxes of still photographs. All material relates to motion picture productions directed by Frankenheimer. The photo albums cover The Extraordinary Seaman (1969), The Fixer (1968), The Gypsy Moths (1969), The Horsemen (1971), I Walk the Line (1970), The Iceman Cometh (1973), Seconds (1966), Seven Days in May (1964), and The Train (1965). The great majority of the boxed material pertains to Black Sunday (1977), Grand Prix (1966), The Challenge (1982), The Horsemen, and The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996).
